This sensor will perfectly measure the soil moisture and, when connected to other electronics, will let you know when it is time to take care of your plants.

Are you curious about how your plant is doing with moisture? The capacitive moisture sensor is an ideal choice for projects such as smart irrigation or measuring soil moisture.

The sensor works on the principle of capacitive measurement and provides an output signal in the range of 0–3 V. It is a perfect choice for smart flower pots and other DIY projects, especially in combination with the Gardener Programmer kit. It is easily programmed in the MakeCode environment.
