The robotic tank is a full-fledged educational tool that will give you a lot of fun. At the same time, you will learn the basics of programming and working with electronics. It is also suitable for novice programmers - you can program the tank to follow a path or control it via a mobile application. The Robot Tank is a tracked vehicle designed for teaching programming and robotics with the micro:bit. The construction is made of robust 3D printed parts that can be easily assembled, modified and used in a variety of educational projects.
The tank is controlled micro:bit a expansion board, which allows you to control motors, sensors and other electronics. Thanks to the tracks used, it can handle driving even on more difficult surfaces. In the version with a controller, the tank can be controlled wirelessly using joystick.
The kit is suitable for primary and secondary schools. Programming can be done using a block editor makecode or in JavaScript and Python – depending on your level of experience.
Available variants
With remote control – Contains everything needed to assemble the tank and remote control, including micro:bits and electronics.
