Laser diode

The 650nm laser diode is a simple and compact light source that provides a narrow, clearly visible red beam. With a two-wire connection (+ and –), it is easy to connect to a circuit without the need for a converter or complex setup.

It is ideal for school projects, optical experiments or as part of your own measurement systems. The diode can be controlled directly from the micro:bit output pin (via a transistor or with a corresponding resistor) and used for light barriers or alignment aids, for example
