This sensor measures the intensity of incident light using a photoresistor. It allows you to distinguish between day and night, detect when a light is on in a room, or detect whether there is an obstacle in front of the sensor. It is suitable for a wide range of practical and educational applications.
The light sensor uses a photoresistor that changes its resistance according to the intensity of the incident light. This allows you to detect changes in ambient lighting. The module also includes a calibration potentiometer that you can use to adjust the sensitivity - for example, for measurements in the dark or in daylight.
The sensor is suitable for projects that respond to light, such as automatically turning on LEDs, monitoring light intensity, or detecting object occlusion.
Thanks to the IDC connector, you can easily connect it to the micro:bit via universal product.
